Tax burden is on the middleclass's head, correct.
If you make a million a year in passive income you can get away with paying very little, and pass it on to your heirs without paying anything. The average working man meanwhile gets a highre rate deducted from his paycheck up front and unless he's lucky won't have much of anything to pass along to his heirs. The rich get richer and the middleclass gets weaker. Over time that is a recipe for disaster in our economy. Clinton proved everyone gets richer when the middleclas is strong and fully employed. They have to have health benefits too. Bottomline, the rich must pay more and the US cannot be turned into a tax haven.
