It doesn't take that much time.

In my case, you're talking about an average of just four posts per week on SI, and more like one this last year.

The key to finding stuff quickly is picking a combination of words that is highly likely to occur on pages involving the subject, while also being rare enough to exclude unrelated garbage. Then search forcing (+) inclusion of those words and scan the results.

Now, Christmas shopping, that absorbs time.
