health insurance

Yes, this is the type of policy I mentioned earlier. The problem is getting people to buy it. People who feel at low risk for Health Insurance pass on it at any price, and then go to the emergency room when they are sick. When asked, they say, "I couldn't afford it," while paying for all sorts of luxuries they think they must have. Then this is taken up by the Social types as "proof" that the system is broken.

If you pass a mandatory Health Ins law, it is treated the same way as mandatory Car Insurance. People don't buy it, and what do you do? Throw them in Jail? Of course not.

This is causing Congress to "Salami" us into National Health Insurance. It is just a matter of time. And we will hate it when we get it.
