No.Too strict of trading rules does not equate to the "number " of trading rules. It was simple, with few rules. The problem is it had the wrong rules.I tried to make a round peg fit in a square hole by demanding the system trade EOD with mutual fund trades. The time frames involved are probably not well suited for EOD mutual fund trading with one day slippage on each end of the trade. Also, the time frames were much too long for the leveraged dynamic funds which erode very rapidly with any volatility that is not all in one direction.

Going real time , long and short the SPY would be a much better track to take IMO.But that doesn't interest me right now...which is why I insisted on trying to make the mutual funds work.

I agree about keeping things simple. It works and I will continue to strive to keep it that way.

As I said all along...this is an ongoing experiment. I will keep the best parts, adapt, and try things from a different angle.

On to the "Triple Q times 2"
