Oh, you certainly weren't the first person to lump those particular events.

For some reason, I am thinking of Clinton selling/giving access to the Lincoln Bedroom to large campaign contributors, and pardoning even larger campaign contributors, and Gore with the tea party where the impoverished Buddhist nuns each contributed whatever the finance limit is. I suppose one could lump those behaviors together, as well, but somehow nothing much ever came of it. Maybe because they weren't illegal.

We just can't seem to come up with enough things to prohibit politicians from doing.
