My reading of the situation is backed up by Sharon's actions.

Each time that there is a cease fire and movement toward a settlement the Sharon government has launched their assasinations again. They don't just assasinate quietly either, in each case it has been missle and tank attacks which kill and maim through crowded residential blocks.
