YOUNGSVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LENF--

LEA's UVI System and EDK123 Kit Used to Enhance Security During
the Centennial First Flight Celebration for President Bush and Other
Dignitaries, Celebrities and Government Officials

Law Enforcement Associates Corporation (OTCBB: LENF), a
surveillance and security technology company, today announced that its
equipment was deployed as part of the overall security strategy at the
Centennial First Flight Celebration, a six-day event that marked the
100th anniversary of the first powered flight by man. The celebration
was held December 12-17, 2003 in Kill Devil Hills, N.C. and was
attended by government officials, dignitaries, celebrities and
aviation legends including U.S. President George W. Bush, actor John
Travolta and retired Brigadier General Chuck Yeager.
LEA has a history of enhancing security at major events including
the Super Bowl and 2002 Winter Olympic Games. The company's technology
is also used as a prevention and detection solution at military bases,
nuclear facilities, embassies, government installations, oil
refineries, and United Nations and NATO locations throughout the
world.
"We are pleased that our technology was chosen to be an integral
part of security for the centennial celebration of the Wright Brothers
inaugural flight," said Paul Feldman, president of LEA. "Our products,
specifically the UVI system and EDK123 kit, provide a first line of
defense against terrorism. "
Security personnel working at the Centennial First Flight
Celebration deployed LEA's Under Vehicle Inspection (UVI) system and
EDK123 explosives detection kit during the event. The UVI system
provides a clear, high contrast real-time video inspection of the
undercarriage of cars, vans and trucks at entry and exit points of
secured facilities. EDK123 is a simple kit that provides a first line
of defense in determining the presence of trace nitrate-based
explosive residues such as TNT, dynamite, Sentex, RDX and ammonium
nitrates.
