Plasma-Therm Announces Multi-System Versalock(R)

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Plasma-Therm, Inc.
(Nasdaq: PTIS) announced today the multi-system sale of Versalock(R) Mask Etchers(TM) to Photronics Inc. (Nasdaq: PLAB). The sale represents orders for systems to be used in the production of advanced reticles at Photronics' newly constructed, state-of-the-art production facilities in Allen and Austin,Texas. The mask etchers will incorporate Plasma-Therm's Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) technology.
