Al, you think I'm pathetic because I don't swallow the line of BS presented for the sheeple - which means you did. I'm surprised you went for it. Bush has walked into a trap by praising Ghaddafi's promise to be rid of nuclear weapons. He has spun it all over the networks as a big political win. Now that he has celebrated his victory, he can hardly turn around and condemn a demand for Israel to do as Libya has done. Nor can the US Government, having just supplied nuclear-capable missiles for Israel's submarine fleet, retreat back into pretending that Israel does not have any WMDs. Ghaddafi has effectively blocked the US from openly supporting Israel's continued possession of WMDs.

Egypt calls for international conference to rid Mideast of WMD

"The Libyan decision to renounce its programs to develop mass destruction weapons is an important basis for specialized international organizations to take a serious decision to rid the Middle East of these arms," Al-Ahram said.
