Cy, your article raises a cogent point. (I'm not surprised that you completely MISSED IT, since you referred to it as an 'Idiots Guide to Third Parties'):

"One reform I have long favored that is more workable would be allowing third-party votes to be aggregated with those on major-party lines. This can be done in 10 states, according to the New Majority Education Fund. Most prominent is New York, which has long had an influential Conservative party, Liberal party, and Right to Life party. When a major-party candidate is endorsed by one of these third parties, votes on their line are added to his vote total. This makes their endorsement valuable and gives third parties more influence without upsetting the basic electoral system."

>>> What you probably don't know is that the only reason the Republicrats have been able to maintain their hammer-hold on the electoral process... is because of a FAULTY Supreme Court decision in the 1970's --- that wrongly maintained that it was legal for Dems and Repubs ("Republicrats") to mandate exclusionary election rules in the States.

>>> Same as any other cartel, they are free to ban the ability of third parties to grow by endorsing Republicrat candidates (why SHOULDN'T a minor political party be able to endorse a 'major party's' candidate, if they agree with the candidate's positions?)... and to set unreasonably high barriers to entry.

>>> It's a rigged game, but I'm not surprised you can't smell the corruption....
