(5 vcrs....geez, i have 2 and rarely use either one) And I haven't seen a movie in a theatre or a rental since Jurassic Park, the original one, came out. I enjoy the cop and doctor shows on TV and some of the sci fi so I tape them and save them and watch them when it suits my schedule, not theirs. Mostly I fall asleep to them. No reason to save anything to DVD. I just recycle cop shows, etc. It's mindless but sufficiently amusing and it serves its purpose. I agree that TV is taking its time coming around. I'm ready to hang a digital TV on a wall just as soon as it's ready for me. I have no particular need for early-adapter chic, though. I'm content with my little routine until something conspicuously better is readily available. Getting old, maybe.
