You're seeing just white (Arab) and black (Israeli),

That's not exactly true. What I see and what I advocate are not the same thing. True enough, my advocacy is in favor of the victims in this battle. But I can see the pain that Israelis feel when their loved ones lose their lives. I simply don't think they should expect anything else for being complicitous with a genocidal war maniac like Sharon.
I can empathize with the Israelis, but I surely can't sympathize with them.

So tell me, which of those actions was acceptable?

Sorry, I don't play this game. The harsh reality is that Israel holds all the power in this situation, and they are acting like jerks.

Still, modern Israel......is in many ways a remarkable success,

Israel is the biggest hog at the trough of U.S. foreign aid. For every dollar a South American gets from the U.S. in aid, an Israeli gets $215. For every dollar that a sub-Saharan African gets in U.S. aid, an Israeli gets $250. The remarkable success is how easily the American public has been duped into such an absurd subsidy. It is certainly remarkable, it is certainly a success from the point of view of the Israelis and their settler population. Yes, it is remarkable the American people put up with this. However, I simply don't call it a success for the interests of the American people.

My take is that, until there is a replacement of leadership on both sides, or a settlement forced by the sole superpower (yeah right!), we'll get nothing but the status quo.

On that we agree. :)
