What is "ultimate justice"? A death penalty is considered to be extremely humane. . . it is painless and over in a second. Yet there are laws in civilized society governing the amount of pain or torture one can legally afflict. . . probably zero. So then for such crimes as torture, what is a just punishment? Rape rooms? I don't even understand these, nor do I wish to. . . but even the suggestion to him that his daughters be subjected to the very rooms he had constructed should surely take him down a few notches. . . provided he cared for them.

I don't believe a death sentence should be imposed without his becoming contrite. . . how we get to that, I don't know.
