I'm not sure it will sink the lifeboat. Allowing unlimited access to health care is not what I'm talking about- but I think it makes sense to give people non critical care in order to avoid losing lives and paying for critical care. And in the case of children, if you let it get critical, the child may be permanently damaged, and thus a permanent drag on your system.
