Q: How soon does the FED have to raise rates? Q: How soon does the market react to the anticipation of a rise in interest rates? Q: How important is the divergence between the DJIA, S&P 500 and the NASDAQ? Q: How often does the NYSE TRIN close below 0.85 on both its 5 day and 10 day moving averages? Q: How unusual is it to see the VIX, VXO (and other measurements of fear in the market) at or near 5 year lows with the nation on high terror alert status? Q: Can the SOX advance to new highs if we finally begin to see some profit taking on the DJIA and S&P 500? Q: If the SMH/SOX is starting an Elliot wave 5 movement higher now how high will it go before the index tops out? Q: Will the SMH/SOX set new highs for this rally in the short term if the DJIA and S&P 500 finally are hit by profit taking? Q: Assuming a top in say March of 2004 for the SOX/SMH how many of the thread participants will actually go short stocks or at least increase hedges to prevent losses if the market fails to continue to advance?
