I guess those reporters won't be traveling without the requisite visas. Someone here posted that the Bush gov't has removed from the Internet any embarrassing info reported by our press. We have a repressed press. I was waiting in line last night, talking to a woman who said that after three years of living in Canada, her daughter still doesn't have whatever it takes to work there. She believes that the Canadian govt does this only to Americans. I don't know. I do know that years ago the president of the company I worked for was marched back to his plane at gunpoint in Saudi Arabia and sent home because his 3-month visa only allowed one visit, and this was his second. Due to the orange alert, US travelers this holiday season are coming under heavy scrutiny as well. I guess the message is: Comply before you fly to the US.
