G, You guys are better than this than I but am i remembering correctly about times when money has moved to staples(this time basic industries) while naz consolidated its exorbitant gains? January chip and equip earnings will give you the answer. We dont have long to wait and the market will give us a tip perhaps in the last week of the year. A stock like amat after touching 26 was back to as low as 20 something. This provides a good base to attack novembers highs and surpass them in the coming quarter. That is what consolidation is all about. What do you think about the earnings being greater than anticipated for the sector. Mike
