So basically a $1 trillion dollar foreign contribution to shrub's reelection bid... In the mid- to late-80s, the Japanese bought skyscrapers, banks, golf courses, and other real estate, and that didn't work out too well for them. Now they buy paper from history's greatest counterfeiters. Wonder how that will work out?
