Ron: You're right that the total for the shorts was wrong, but it didn't affect the cash balance. Here's a correction, which includes today's trades.

Kelvin: I agree that the trend is your friend, but when the market gets as extended as it is today, there's a lot of risk in the opposite direction before the trend changes. Just curious, if you were long DIA, QQQ, and SPY, where would you keep a stop? My guess is that you wouldn't get stopped out until DIA is below where I'm short. Any smaller increment is just noise unless you are day trading. I figured that DIA could trade to about 104 when I put the position on, which is where it traded in April 2002 before making a new low in October. I'm still confident that I will get out with a profit, although not confident enough to add more at this point.
