Anyplace we could use a Tac Nuke would be better done with the conventional we now have, IMO. Here is an example of "Air Brushing" that will drive Andrew Sullivan up the wall. "Discount Blogger."

YOU CAN'T BE IN THE VIDEO - YOU'RE GAY
A video retrospective has been running at the Lincoln Memorial since 1995, showing the various protests and demonstrations that have taken place on the mall throughout history. Well, soon all images of gay groups that have protested at the Lincoln Memorial will be removed at the request of Religious Groups who say that they imply that Lincoln would have supported gay rights:

Ruch said that the directive came from National Parks Service deputy director Donald Murphy. After the conservative groups complained, Murphy expressed concern about images in the video that showed same-sex couples kissing and holding hands, Ruch said. Some of those images include the 2000 Millennium March, which drew tens of thousands of gay men and lesbians and their supporters to the mall for one of the biggest demonstrations since the civil rights and antiwar marches of the 1960s.
The Parks Service justifies this by saying they want to make the video more balanced. More balanced seems to mean "whatever the Right tells us we can put in the video."

Can someone explain to me why this is a good idea. I'm embarassed - not just as a gay person, but as someone who believes that this is just silly and shows the undue influence that religious groups have on policy in this country.
