Outsourcing is not an indicator of a worsening economy, Liz. Indeed, outsourcing was happening to significant degrees even during those "on fire" Clinton years. My own company began outsourcing non-essential functions during the Clinton administration and not under the Bush administrations. The use of foreign labor ought not occupy such a place of prominence in your argument against the stability of the economy, since in principle it is not the cause of America's economic woes. Even your peripheral argument against outsourcing is invalid since you do not specify why such imbalances as that between the yuan and the dollar are inherently "unfair." I see no "unfairness" here at all. The yuan/dollar ratio actually presents opportunities for people on both sides of the Pacific.
