DISGRUNTLED VOLUNTEER UNITES!

Scott,

Do you get the sense like I do that the Ex-DEANiacs is one-man operation?

I loved one of the personal notes that someone sent to the Clark Community Network Board:

"Besides Dean's anger factor, he's a bad speaker, and he is always repeating the same old thing over and over I've got it almost memorized, something like... "We'll take the flag back from Ashcroft and Limbaugh, the power is in your hands, let's buy Bush a 1-way bus ticket to Crawford, and let's reclaim the whitehouse, that's exactly what we're gonna do.." It seems that Deans entire campaign is focused now on raising money. Instead of trying to convince more people that Dean is the right candidate, it seems they're focused on convincing the Deaniacs to give more money.

MY COMMENT? Well, duh! Money is the mother's milk of politics. Nothing is going to ever change that.

But what is really wonderful about this post is that it means that the Dean propaganda is working. In spite of this posters boredom with the message, he/she has been memorizing it. And that is powerful stuff when you are selling a product.

"Coke: It's the real thing."
"Reach out and touch someone."
"It keeps going, and going, and going, and going"
"Priceless"
"It's the economy, stupid!"
"Weapons of Mass Deception"

Dean is starting to have the subliminal stuff kick in. This poor poster is probably dreaming Dean campaign slogans and resenting it. <gg> He'll tire of Clark, too. Because Clark will need to repeat memorable buzz phrases as well.
