We are NOT in the economic disaster Dizzy is portraying. Dizzy fondly wishes to believe the late '90s bubble years were normal economics, rather than wasteful, ill-conceived overexpansion far beyond sustainable demand. Dizzy is so ill-founded economically that she fails to recognize that that late '90s explosion displayed every characteristic of an economic bubble. She also is blind to the fact that, had Gore won, he would be facing exactly the same economic problems- -the shattered debris of a burst bubble.

"9 million professional unemployed" is a nice touch, since it depends entirely on how you define "professional". The Mafia has professional hit men. Are they in there? Those guys pushing shopping carts down the sidewalks are "professional recyclers". Them too?
