David,

I was shocked to discover a post here. XICO is an intriguing company but generally undiscovered. The company has enormous potential, but a long history of disappointing or at least deferring that potential.

It remains to be seen whether XICO can translate some of their new product development into substantial sales. While other semi companies are ramping up sales, it isn't clear to what extent XICO will join in the party. The transition out of old legacy product lines into newer analog mixed signal products has made it harder to evaluate how well the company is doing -- though margins are improving, declining revenues on old products counterbalance revenue gains on newer products.

Given the balance between enormous potential and XICO's modest revenue guidance for this quarter, it is hard to know where the value balance should be. My guess is that the stock is fully valued unless they exceed estimates substantially.

Recent stock sale by Chairman Dan McCranie increases concerns that the company may be on the verge of another disappointment rather than greatness.
