Karen,
FP folks on both sides should realize that there can be alternate solutions to the same problem and many might work. When Bush decided on attacking saddam, the argument should have shifted as to what would make this course of action successful. Most folks did just that but many in the Dean wing of the democratic party just plain rooted against Bush. For Dean to have a chance he neednt necessarily move to the middle, he just needs to deal with the reality of the current situation and how best to get the best possible solution. The problem for him is that the Bush folks are promulgating policies not to different than most democrats would under these conditions. So Dean continues to pound the past to secure his base and his nomination without uttering one word on how we would secure a positive outcome. Mike
