Q, I was always of the belief that any sacrifice on the environement(anwar drilling) should be matched by sacrifice by the consumer. Higher standards/prices + suv tax + higher taxes on fuel--whatever it takes to minimize foreign dependence. I agree with you that we are heading for a train wreck in energy. Needs to be a balance between exploration and conservation. Benign neglect doesnt always work. Mike
