this can only be fixed by shutting down the leak culture, which includes both good leaks and bad leaks.

Operational Security (OPSEC) is a problem for every government, military, and corporation.

It is not just us. Considering the current info re airplanes and flight numbers, OPSEC has to be a big problem for the bad guys too.

Effective OPSEC requires a complete overall of most folks thinking. I belong to the OPSEC Professionals Society and can say the Purple Dragon guys are trying to that. Every US Military Org has regularly scheduled and required OPSEC training...But it is never enough.

More and more, you see corporate security managers at OPSEC Conferences. The interest is there, but we have a long way to go.

EDIT....forgot a tip.

Keep family meeting place addresses, driving instructions and all appropriate telephone numbers including cell phone numbers in each family member's car.
