To be blunt, the future of freedom seems grim if we are to continue with the Bush model of criminal license for corporate crooks, impingements on civil liberties for critics and dissenters, and rapidly escalating militarism across the planet, led by the mercenary forces ostensibly of the U.S., but in reality working as hired thugs for corporate chieftains lusting after assets and resources to steal.

Additionally, I feel that the readers here should not be naive to the actions of the U.S. government over the past 50 years which simply are state terrorism perpetrated on a massive scale across the planet. The U.S. has engaged in over 200 operations during this period, many of which can be characterized as a terrorization of local populations:
