Given the tendency of the courts at all levels to usurp the powers of the electorate, presidents and governors, and the legislatures-as well as the judicial system's failure to reign in the barbarian hordes of tort lawyers-I don't think it's such a bad thing to force the public to elect an overwhelming majority in the Senate-or take an interest in local and state judicial elections-in order to keep the courts from becoming tyrants or being decimated by attrition.

It's a little easier to say that now that it's carved in stone that the anti-American left can never again get a majority in the Senate, much less an overwhelming one. But the principle of taking an interest in who's a judge-or losing the judiciary by attrition-should not be denied. It extends to all those single-candidate judgeship races at the local level, as well as to elections to the US Senate, and, of course, the presidency.

The lesson, again, is diligence. The left wing domestic enemy ran wild until 91101, and is now being defeated-by a resurgence in diligence...
