OT: Please don't blame Gottfried. The error was mine. The low in July of 2002 of 8 which was still in advance of a higher low BPNDX of 13 in October 2002 instead of the low of 1 in October 2201. That was one of the signals I should have clearly referred to instead. Keep in mind what the fear indices were doing back then as well.
