I'm not familiar with the 2004 Norton at all. I had the same experience with Norton when I upgraded to XP. I swore by it when I was running 98 but really saw little reason to use it on XP. ZoneAlarm has a cache cleaner, XP's defrag is quick, I use a standalone reg cleaner periodically, and I'm happy with a free anti-virus program. SystemWorks 2004 may provide more but that's all I remember about the version I was running.
