Your assertions are not "backed up", they are irrelevant and meaningless. The state of the German economy in 1936 has zero to do with the underlying industrial and scientific capability of Germany in 1936. Germany did not become the world's strongest scientific and industrial power in three years under Hitler -- the capability was already there -- no other country on earth could match German industry, although by the end of the war the edge had tipped towards the US as the US did a truly remarkable job of mobilizing its own industrial capability to overtake Germany's number one position in the world. Hitler was not merely dangerous because he was Hitler. He was dangerous because he presided over an early twentieth century "superpower". To compare the world's number one industrial economy to a broken down, non-industrial third-world country like Iraq is horse manure from beginning to end. You backed up nothing but the truck -- and the truck was full of manure.
