Up here in Canada one tends to shoot, shovel and shut-up when it comes to livestock. Not many ranchers are willing to waste money on having animals vetted and tested after the animal has wasted to the point it won't bring money at the auction-market. I know ranchers in Montana and Wyoming with the same shoot, shovel and shut-up policy.
