Your black and white vision prevents you from understanding that there are gradations in government classifications. But of course, you see everything in black and white.

With sufficient time, every example of modern "dictatorship" slowly transformed itself towards its "lite" version. China now protects the private ownership of property. Spain now protects the rights of gay men. And even the latest examples of dictatorships, the Islamic states, are also slowly transforming, as is oft noted in the case of Iran.
