So, I take it you would have withdrawn at Bunker Hill when first minutemen fell to Redcoats? and you would have stopped assault at Normandy after thousands died on 1st day? Thankfully, our young men&women are more tenacious & have their priorities in order. They volunteered to hold the line for our benefit because they realize some things are worth the fight. We don't deserve to be a super power if our automatic reaction is to run from every challenge.
