Hi Henry, thanks for the update. There could be an impact to businesses, tech businesses, tradeshows- more of an economical impact, since this has the appearances of a travelers illness (hotels, planes, corporations, medical centers) though the likelihood of catching sars is statistically small in the overall population (as long as one isn't near a superspreader, otherwise all bets are off.) Surprisingly, quite a few overseas hightech firms got sars last season. The joys of offshoring.
Last season this spread into high numbers around March. Wonder if they can better contain it this time around, by being more forthcoming and better prepared. Although this was first reported in USA news here, rather than People's Daily, so who knows if they really are.
Understand his girlfriend is already sick with fever.
Was surprised to learn the steroid treatment for the inflammation due to SARs negatively impacted a third 30% of the Beijing patients bones. Wonder why an injection of antibodies wouldn't help reduce inflammation. There's a startup in the Bay Area working on a new antibody treatment for reducing inflammation. $105k a pop.
