Dean will be raw meat for the Professional Christians no matter what he does. I don't think there's a winning strategy with them. The worst thing would be to try to pretend to be one of them. The second worst thing would be to ignore their issues. The only thing he can do is to be honest, recognize that he's not going to sway anyone, and come out of there with this dignity rather than a lot of rw sound bites. I'd like to see him talk straight to them about brotherly love and tolerance, two lovely Christian virtues. At least they used to be.
