< I am confused as to how this came about.>

As you now know, several complaints were made. Personally I have no problem with having rules and obeying them. I DO have a problem with whiners making something out of nothing, and then having those rules applied selectively to 100 folks on Amati vs. to the entire board.

I wonder if there were complaints raged against a particular pro-Amati poster (who awhile back seemed pretty close to slander of the CEO of a competitor, and who also posted as fact, information which was first denied by the company, and is still yet to be confirmed) that led to an eviction, how the whining true-believers would feel. All based on SI (or SEC) rules, of course...

Though personally, I would not want to see anyone kicked off, for anything short of physical threats - stated or implied (ala Bark, I mean Bart). But if narrow minded Amati whiners want to selectively knock out Amati critics for violations, maybe we will get an all out battle going to knock off ANY Amati posters who have violated SI rules. Since we seem to be on a police board, in this down time for Amati news, anyone else want to search for and pool various violations? Maybe EC with your search skills and focus?

Happy hunting.

a few more of my cents-

Steve
