So you think the US can maintain its standard of living by trading strictly within its own borders? You think the effects of "Looking at country of origin labels will be necessary, always" won't be noticed and THEY won't look for "Made in USA"?
Particularly since to get your campaign going, you will need a large and continuing publicity campaign.

What do you intend doing about that rather large fraction of the population that won't go along? Shoot them?

If I'm French and I can buy a "Made in USA" widget for 20 francs or a Made in China widget for 2 francs, do you think I will buy the "Made in USA" out of loyalty to a country that saved mine from the Nazis? Which do you think I will buy if I'm South Korean or Malayasian or Uzbek?

Who told you you were ENTITLED to a job, security, health, or insurance? Don't yell at me; I'm just telling you how the world works. Go find the guy who told you that and deck him.

AND you don't have to take it. You can vote to cut out the regulations and socialism that keep your friendly local employer from competing. You can see that education is improved- -but that doesn't mean throwing money at it; throwing money at a large bureaucracy simply makes it larger. It requires your personal involvement with your own kids and their school. Take them out and homeschool them if the "educators" won't change. Support vouchers.
