coug, As if She,They wanted it to fail.. For forever, by pointing at her cumbersome attempt.. You are a very perceptive observer. In addition to ensuring the failure of the rationalization of the U.S.'s insanely inefficient health care system, the Clintonistas were also instrumental in selling working Americans down the rio with NAFTA (We're here to shaftya!). Never have the "commanding heights" folks been better at pulling a fast one on Joe Six Pack. Even I was suckered by Al Gore's bravura debate performance against Ross Perot when the NAFTA debate was raging. Gore made a good case, which unfortunately Perot couldn't counter because so much of Gore's argument was a perfect match for the Secretary State Colon Bowel's bravura performance in front of the UN Security Council last February 5th. When he essentially had to take the 5th, or be drinking a Fifth in order to get so many lies into so little time. "Governments lie," was the famous quip by I.F. Stone that has forever stood the test of time. Thanks for enunciating my suspicions about the Clintons. They are vastly more interested in power than in the people.... and the people need to know that.
