Less? Where did you get THAT strange idea? Slick and Grayout were both known for their extortion abilities. So how would you do it? Force radio and TV stations to give free time? How much? What stops it from becoming "essentially all" at some point? Public disgust, maybe, but that just means they've tuned it out, so what's the point? "Public financing" so they may pick your pocket and tell you what a favor they are doing you? You don't tink they will find reasons to spend more and more and more and liberals like you will support them every inch of the way? How abut a lottery? The names of every adult native-born American goes in a bowl, one gets drawn, and he's dictator for four years? Cheap, quick, and easy.
