I notice Tyco is offering courses in ThingMagic, Intermec, and
Matrix readers. This link is off the SensorMatic website:
sensormatic.com

I would say a name like Tyco. There are a number of associations
SAMsys has had in the past and there are a number of dozen companies
that come to mind like Motorola and Phillips. One that does not
come to mind is International Paper. I would think you're right
about Tyco not making two competing readers.

I would think a number of companies did watch the November meeting
with WalMart suppliers and got the message WalMart definitely sent.
I think its reasonable to say that some good sized players are
looking at the value proposition as we speak.

It's not a question of being associated with the SMY investment.
If WalMart and the DOD go ahead it's a gigantic undertaking in a
new area and there's piles of money to be made in numerous ways.
That's just a fact if the assumption is true. It's numerous
billions in total in the timeframe of a few years to fulfill the
pallet/carton tracking.

Will that attract interest? I think so. In all kinds of ways.

A couple of more days to put a lock on 2003 and then the exciting
year begins.

4putt,

We've written back and forth a couple of times about future prices
and in my opinion you may have interpreted some of my numbers as
hard predictions. So here are hard predictions.

2004 high: $11.50
2004 close: $8.50
2004 low: above $2

If I'm within a quarter I'll take the credit; otherwise, I'm wrong.
My personal hard target close 2004 remains at $5. I also still say
that $9 million in EU/US in sales produces a shareprice above $8.

If they do $20M then it's $25.

(these are strictly EPS calculations and prices from that and do
not include news, prospects, growth, competition changes or any
acts of god such as gold plated bathrooms)
