I'm less concerned about economy than I am about the statism. What I appreciated about Reagan was that his administration started the turnabout in big government programs. That was a huge accomplishment given the momentum of the great society. What is most distasteful to me about Bush is that he has thrown that away, in spades. And hardly a peep is heard from the peanut gallery.
