Thanks, Darfot, I guess I don't understand what Mr. Schulz is trying to recommend, by having brokerage accounts and assets in multiple countries. Perhaps if the US govt were to make holding gold illegal, it might have value to have some in a foreign location. But it does not seem likely that the US govt would take this action. Does anybody know what Argentina did during their bankruptcy? Didn't they 'nationalize' some savings accounts? Would it have helped these citizens to have some assets in a foreign country? Robin
