Well i pasted it in exactly as it appeared .... yes i am aware of how Churchill felt about jews [Disraeli had been one of course], but we were talking about zionism, not jews in general ...... i'll look it up one time, kind of curious to see if his interest in the zionist project of Palestine was perhaps stimulated by a desire to see such a movement confined to a particular area at some distance from seats of power .... the indigenous did not matter at all to him, he is well known for holding that attitude so anachronistically, somewhere there is an amusing quote of his in re TE Lawrence's arabs and the promises made to them, you can see where the term Perfidious Albion comes from

We can do better than that now ..... if we can't, or won't, then this species is not advancing, and we should maybe ask ourselves w.t.f. is the point
