"How could a single event, even if it involved three thousand civilian casualties, have such a far-reaching effect?" he asks, apparently sincerely. I guess we shouls apologize to the Japanese for fighting WW2. After all, they did kill fewer Americans at Pearl Harbor than OBL's boys did at the WTC.
