Mosenergo Sales Rise

MOSCOW — Mosenergo, the dominant supplier of heat and electricity to Moscow, expects 2003 net income to more than double to 1.6 billion rubles ($54.7 million), Interfax reported, citing the company.

Profit will increase by more than 1 billion rubles, Interfax said. Sales are expected to rise 33 percent to 70.3 billion from 53 billion rubles in 2002, the news agency said.
