LA Times - REAL UNEMPLOYMENT ALMOST 10% under Bush, millions of unemployed people not being reported, those who are only slightly employed or have given up looking. Also consider hundrds of thousands who cannot get a real job so are consulting without benefits packages. The LA Times pegs the real unemployment number at 9.85%. It is their front page headline today.
