The LA Times pegs the real unemployment number at 9.85%. It is their front page headline today. Yeah, let's just through out ALL the long-standing measures of the economy because you don't like what they're saying. In fact, even better than redefining them to suit one's political arguments, let's not have objective measures at all. That way you can make up whatever "facts" you want and no one can prove you wrong. BTW, the headline said 9.7%, but what's an extra .15% when you're inventing facts, anyway, right? It even makes your lie seem more precise and scientific, carrying it out to three significant digits.
