i have a most excellent idea for you to match
my pledge that won't cost you even one dollar
of your own money and will be good for your
health as well as your looks while providing
you an extra bit of motivation to lose that weight
that you and i agreed to (but haven't lost any
of yet). i DID lose one quarter pounder the other
day - i think it might be under the sofa cushions.

i will pledge a dollar to the NNBM care to help well
for every pound you lose between now and april fools
day. if you can drop 20 in three months, that's 10%
of your $200 goal. go get 9 more $1 pledges or one
$9 per pound pledge and you're home FREE!

now, to throw a monkee wrench into this challenge,
i'm going to ask you to make the same pledge to me.
it'll be good for my health. <g> this WILL have to
come from your own money (sorry dude, but it'll
make you feel good to help slim down a fat man
and help a few more of the kiddos with some clean
water to wash those dirty little hands with.)
what say ye to THAT matey?

i'm glad you piped up. no one would expect you
to join this right after pledging a whole well
project by yourself. your guts and determination
will show scooter that even HE has to participate
in this NNBM project fundraiser. (i show no mercy)

i'm also going to challenge clappy and the piscato
man with the same paddy melting deal. their wives
will thank me and probably sponsor their hubbies with
pledges for pounds... kath has already offered to
sponsor my tonnage reduction. <g>

CHALLENGE TO THE REST OF MY BARFLIES BUDDIES:

how 'bout it? anyone else game to sponsor one of the hefty
fellers (preferrably the elpolvo rollo personage)?

...or join in with with your own challenge or donations
or ideas to fill our well by april fools day?

we have some very creative people here. i can't wait to
hear some of the challenges, pledges and ideas you'll
be coming up with.

also... we need to brainstorm a name for our NNBM well
project sponsorship.

"the NNBM well for the care to help project" isn't a
particularly catchy name, eh?
